Splint! gathers some of the finest musicians from the Scandinavian improvised music scene. Band founder Johannes Lundberg's vision before putting the group together in 2004 was to form a unit with perfect match both on an artistic and a personal level: good friends have all chances in the world to make good music. And have a lot of fun on the way too.

The band members are:

Jon Fält (SE): drums, percussion, sampler
Known from bands like Bobo Stenson trio and Yun Kan 5. If you have questions about coffee, Jon is the man to ask. He knows everything that's worth knowing about grinders, beans and crema.

Gunnar Halle (NO): trumpet. electronics
Copenhagen-based Halle can be heard around the world in New Jungle Orchestra, as well as in groups as Tys Tys and Fattigfolket. Plans on moving back with his family to his roots and wooden boat in Oslo.

Nils-Olav Johansen (NO) : guitar, guitar synthesizers, voice, electronics.
His surrealistic playing can also be heard in for instance Food, Transjoik and Farmers Market, when he is not singing Stevie Wonder-hits in Japanese karaoke bars.

Johannes Lundberg (SE): synthesizers, double-bass, voice, electronics
Has been seen in bands with Billy Cobham, Susi Hyldgaard and many others. Otherwise you'll most likely find him in the forest picking mushrooms for the next Sunday dinner.
