Dag grew up in a small, strictly religious town in the southern of Sweden. Not being interested in church, he dedicated his time studying double bass at the local music school. At 16 he joined his first of a series of bands and became seriously interested in art. A couple of years later he moved to Gothenburg and started experimenting with different recording techniques. After borrowing a 4-track portable cassette recorder from a friend and writing his own songs, Jasper TX was born. Dag's interest in recording continued to grow and became much more than a hobby. An education as Sound Engineer followed with the building, eventually, of his own studio.

Dag splits his time between his solo project Jasper TX, his indie group de la Mancha (on crying bob records) and his studio duties.
