Vancouver is a perfect example of Machinefabriek's abilities to manipulate noise, samples and acoustic instruments in a live environment, building up pulsating drones with Supersilent-esque crescendos that will send shivers up your spine. Originally available as a 3" cd through his website, this EP is a good introduction to Machinefabriek's world of controlled chaos, exposing his flirting with powerful melodies, metal/drone and the Fennesz school of guitar playing. Look out for his full length album next year!

Enavomi has just completed his Feever EP, a handful of songs created under the influence of fever and other hallucinogenic symptoms. A good sample of his forthcoming Vinden Blåser Bakåt EP to be released early this Summer, it is an abstract and chaotic representation of a confused state of mind. The instruments used, a broken 12-string guitar, a disfunctional keyboard, accidental noises, add to the sense of decay and create a haunting environment where nothing is as expected. Download it now!
